If you like Ice-cream you will like Coppa. I grew up on homemade ice-cream and the Alaskan made Coppa sells is very much like it. What makes Coppa's better are the unusual and daring ingredients. Blue cheese and pear? Amazing! Devils Club? Great! Mushroom? Super! and Burnt Almond? For me the best!

Amazing ice cream made locally with local ingredients; craft coffee roasted down the block; salmon caught in local waters. Coppa is a community treasure! Try the tangy rhubarb sorbet in spring, and cherry vanilla (with cherries harvested from yards all around the neighborhood) in summer. These folks care about their ingredients, their customers, and their community. If you work in the Federal Building you'll be here everyday. Everyone else, make sure you stop by at least once a week ... You need that affogato!

Coppa has been a wonderfully positive element in building community in the Flats neighborhood near the Juneau Federal Building, and has become a relaxing daily break for me. They have great lattes, friendly staff, amazingly good ice cream featuring both local and exotic ingredients and unlikely but excellent flavor combinations; tasty hearty soups, and awesome sandwiches. Good vibe; and I really appreciate that they have taken the sort of courageous stands for equality and fairness that more businesses should. Great place!

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve ice cream and other delights in the ancestral home of the Áak'w Kwáan Lingít Aaní. We use ingredients collected in these unceded lands and waters with utmost respect for the peoples that have inhabited this land since time immemorial. Gunalchéesh.
